DAY 1
ARUSHA / STONE TOWN
From Arusha Airport you connect with the
schedule flight to Zanzibar. On arrival you are met and transfer
to the Zanzibar Serena for a late lunch. In the afternoon
you can book an optional historical tour. Dinner can be taken
at any one of the number of restaurants in town (contact us
for recommendations).

DAY 2
STONE TOWN / MATEMWE
In the morning there are options for optional
tours of the spice groves or Jozani forest before transferring
north for lunch at Matemwe. Set on the north eastern tip of
Zanzibar, Matemwe is superbly situated for access to great
dive sites and also a great retreat to relax.
Overnight Matemwe Bungalows (full board)
DAY 3
MATEMWE
Optional activities or relax at the lodge.
Note extra days at Matemwe can be requested.

DAY 4
MATEMWE / DEPART
In the afternoon you transfer to Zanzibar
airport to connect with a schedule flight to Dar es Salaam.
Here you are met and transferred to International departures.
Note that earlier departures can be accommodated for and day
rooms in Dar es Salaam can also be booked to minimise time
spent at the airport.
(lunch only - request day rooms in Zanzibar
if you want to maximise beach time or in Stone Town, or leave
on the earlier flight and take a day room in Dar es Salaam.
Also consider swapping round the itinerary to end in Stone
Town)
