To our partners in the travel industry,

In light of the coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent impact on guests either who have already booked OR are thinking of booking then please note the following:

In the event of a travel ban or negative advisory specifically due to Coronavirus (either outbound or inbound in to East Africa) then the following exception to our standard Terms & Conditions apply.

  • Bookings that have deposited (as per our T&C's 10% of the total booking value) are eligible to postpone travel arrangements for a period of 12 months from the date of first service provision BUT subject to 3rd party bookings terms and conditions. 

  • Increases in costs due to any government tax or policy changes are NOT covered

  • Bookings up to 7 days before 1st service are eligible to cancel without penalty BUT subject to third party policies (in other words, our services of mountain related services we are happy to cancel without penalty)

  • Bookings 7 days of travel will be subject to normal cancellation terms

  • NOTE: all cancellations are reviewable on a case by case basis. We understand these times

It is imperative that guests take out the necessary insurances and note that non coronavirus cases will be subject to normal terms and conditions. 

We trust everything will return to normal in the course of the coming 24 months and we are of course on hand to discuss all cases as they arise.
