Below are just a few examples of recent projects we have been involved with.
Africa Classic
Tanzania
Providing reconnaissance, logistical support and camping services for over 100 cyclists as they raise money for AMREF Flying Doctors by cycling 400km around Mount Kilimanjaro.
Nord Anglia Schools
Each year from October to March, Nord Anglia Schools send around 1,000 pupils to Tanzania to engage in community projects that centre around helping local communities.
Tasks include building schools or drip irrigation farming systems and permaculture projects that hugely impact the ability for small communities around Tanzania to become self sufficient. Summits Africa are responsible for seeking out and delivering these projects as well as the logistics, accommodation and feeding while on task.
Africa Classic
Uganda
New for 2019. Building on the success of Africa Classic in Tanzania, another challenge has been created in the beautiful outback of Uganda. This year will see over 50 cyclists cycling over 600km in order to raise money for AMREF Flying Doctors. Like the Tanzanian edition, Summits Africa will be providing all the local ground support in order to make this remarkable event a great success.
